Christian Bible Devotions for Women

   This blog comes from the desire to grow with other Christian women in knowing what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ. These devotions will be like a small piece of rich dark chocolate. A little piece goes a long way. They will be short so that it won't take a long time to read but they are meant to give you something rich to think about throughout your day.  

     I will write these devotions as I am writing a quick note to a sister in Christ and will address them to you as "Dear Sister." As with a sister in Christ, I will want to share the truth of God's word humbly, because I will need to hear what I am writing too! Please know that my tone is with love and caring, as to speak the truth in love. 

     "Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ." Ephesians 4:15

     Please join me here as we dive into what it means to be a Christian woman in this world. I encourage you to think of ways to live out your faith in Jesus Christ in grace, gentleness, and love for others. This world needs strong Christian women. Let us be strong and brave as we show the love of Christ in actions and words. Dear friend, I urge you to live righteously before God and humanity as what you do will affect those around you whether you know it or not.  

   "Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. "
